Nowcomm has joined forces with the University of Derby to help manage and support their annual Clearing event. Clearing kicks off as soon as A-level students get their exam results and then call the University to secure places based on their subject availability. This is an incredibly important time for the University as the more students they clear, the higher their revenue stream for the next 3 or 4 years or so.
Nowcomm worked alongside the University to manage and support the contact centre that was built to support the volume of calls that come in during Clearing week, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. By dedicating time and resources to the project and ensuring that an on-site Nowcomm engineer was available, we ensured that the Clearing process was a success.
